A fast-track delivery of 12 new Further Education and Training (EFT) Colleges in the provinces of Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal. These FET colleges provide for a total of 10,500 students with hostel accommodation for 1,600 boarders.

MSW’s approach to programme management enabled:

  • Integrated environmental screening and specialist studies at the concept design stage of the assignment.
  • Securing environmental authorisations in the shortest time possible since the process ran in parallel with detailed designs and procurement.
  • Minimisation of negative environmental impacts.
  • Remote monitoring of all sites using an Outdoor IP-Surveillance camera solution to take snapshots of the sites at defined intervals and upload them onto the document management system.
  • A detailed photographic record of the construction progress.
  • The client to view daily progress on each of the sites from their head office.
